Annual Get-together Koinonia 2022-2023
The Annual Get-together (Koinonia 2022-23) programme of our Parish is scheduled to be held as follows:
 
Curtain Raiser & Food Festival will be held on Friday, 3rd February 2023 - 5:00 PM onwards, at the St. Thomas Church in Oman premises, Ruwi. It includes exotic food such as Barbeque, Nadan Thattu kada, Kappa - Chembu - Kaachil Puzhukku, Kappa Variellu and North Indian Chaat corner as well as Entertainment Programmes. The Mega Programme will be held on Friday, 17th February 2023 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, (after the Holy Communion service) at the St. Thomas Church in Oman premises, Ruwi

കർത്താവിൽ പ്രിയ ദൈവജനമേ...
ദൈവേഷ്ടമായാൽ നമ്മുടെ ഇടവകയിലെ ഇടവക മിഷന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ഈ വർഷത്തെ കൺവൻഷൻ *2023 ജനുവരി മാസം 24 ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച മുതൽ 27  വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വരെ പള്ളിയിൽ നടക്കുന്നതാണ്.
ചൊവ്വ മുതൽ വ്യാഴം വരെ രാത്രി യോഗങ്ങൾ വൈകിട്ട് 7:45 മുതൽ 9:30 വരെയും, വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 9.45 ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാനയെ തുടർന്ന് കൺവെൻഷൻ സമാപന സമ്മേളനം പള്ളിയിൽ നടക്കുന്നതാണ്.
കൺവെൻഷന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിനായുള്ള ഒരുക്ക പ്രാർത്ഥന ജനുവരി 23 തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് 8.30 മണിക്ക് ചാപ്പലിൽ വെച്ച് നടത്തപെടുന്നതാണ്.
എല്ലാ ദൈവമക്കളും ഈ ഒരുക്ക പ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും, കൺവെൻഷൻ യോഗങ്ങളിലും പ്രാർഥനാപൂർവം സകുടുംബം വന്ന് സംബന്ധിക്കണം എന്ന് ഇടവകമിഷനുവേണ്ടി പ്രേത്യേകം അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

Summer Camp 2022

My dear in Christ

After a gap of more than 2 years, we as parish is conducting the Summer Camp 2022 from 28th of July to 31 July at St.Thomas Church, Ruwi.

Rev. Jijo Varghese, the Youth Chaplain of UAE will lead the sessions. I request you to send your child/children to the Summer Camp without fail. Let our children come together and be part of the Camp.

The registration form will be send to you and that has to be filled and submitted by 22nd July.

The registration fees is fixed for each child as OMR 7.

If you find any difficulty to pay the registration fee,feel free to contact me in person so that it could be solved out. If you need any help in transportation for your child, feel free to inform us so that the arrangement could be done.

If your child is in Class 12 or above , please send them to the camp so that they could serve as volunteers or you yourself could serve as a volunteer. Let this Camp be blessed for all our kids. Seek your whole hearted support.

മാർത്തോമ്മാ സഭയുടെ എട്ടാമത്തെ സഫ്രഗൻ മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്തായായി അഭിവന്ദ്യ ഗീവർഗീസ് മാർ തീയഡോഷ്യസ്‌ എപ്പിസ്കോപ്പ ചുമതയേൽകുന്നു. 2020 ജൂലൈ 12ആം തിയതി തിരുവല്ല സഭ ആസ്ഥാനത്തു നടക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ അഭിവന്ദ്യ തിരുമേനി സഫഗ്രൻ സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് ഉയർത്തപ്പെടും .
 
സഫ്രഗൻ പദവിക്ക്‌ പുറമേ റാന്നി-നിലയ്ക്കൽ ഭദ്രാസനത്തിെന്റ ചുമതലയും നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ മുംബൈ ഭദ്രാസനത്തിന്റെ എപ്പിസ്കോപ്പയാണ്. കൊല്ലം അഷ്ടമുടി കിഴക്കേ ചക്കാലയിൽ ഡോ. കെ.ജി.ചാക്കോ-മേരി ദമ്പതിമാരുടെ മകനായി 1949 ഫെബ്രുവരി 19-നാണ് അഭിവന്ദ്യ തിരുമേനിയുടെ ജനനം. ജോർജ് ജേക്കബ് എന്നായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ പേര്. തിരുവല്ല മാർത്തോമ്മാ, കോട്ടയം ബസേലിയോസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ കോളേജ് പഠനത്തിനുശേഷം ലിയോനാർഡ് തിയോളജിക്കൽ സെമിനാരിയിൽനിന്ന് വൈദിക പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി.
1972-ൽ വൈദിക പട്ടവും 1973-ൽ കശീശാ പട്ടവും നേടി. 1989-ൽ റമ്പാൻ പദവിയിലേക്കും 1989-ൽ ഗീവർഗീസ് മാർ തീയഡോഷ്യസ് എന്ന പേരിൽ എപ്പിസ്കോപ്പൽ പദവിയിലേക്കും ഉയർത്തപ്പെട്ടു. കുന്നംകുളം-മലബാർ, തിരുവനന്തപുരം-കൊല്ലം, ചെന്നൈ-ബെംഗളൂരു, മലേഷ്യ-സിംഗപ്പൂർ, നോർത്ത് അമേരിക്ക-യൂറോപ്പ് ഭദ്രാസനങ്ങളുടെ അധ്യക്ഷനായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അഷ്ടമുടി ഇമ്മാനുവേൽ മാർത്തോമ്മാ ഇടവകാംഗമാണ്.

SUFFRAGAN METROPOLITAN PASSED AWAY

The Mar Thoma Church deeply mourns the unexpected passing away of Suffragan Metropolitan Rt. Rev. Geevarghese Mar Athanasius Suffragan Metropolitan Thirumeni at P.V.S. Memorial Hospital, Ernakulam at 4:40 AM on 18-4-2018.. Thirumeni is fondly remembered for His soul stirring oration marked with Christian maturity and vast knowledge in human relations. Thirumeni who is keen in keeping relationships systematically was instrumental in materializing many humanitarian projects for the upliftment of the poor and needy. As Thirumeni completes His earthly sojourn, Church praises Her Lord for the outstanding life and witness of Thirumeni.
